Painting myself: Showing me as an act of sovereignty and affirmation, as an exercise of disobedience versus false modesty and morality; Painting as if searching for a vital testament, and not as a pedantic and narcissistic exercise.
Building myself: Portraying myself in the margin, in a space between light and darkness; Existing popping up in the limit of the visible, unexpectedly, as if out of the corner of your eye, in an attempt to capture an instant, a small space of time asleep between two memories, a malicious selfie.
Knowing myself: In the vertigo of the initiatory path, in the principle of accepting one’s own image; the passing of time as a tool that works on the outside and inside, leaving opposite records that mark the inside and unmark the outside, leaving unexplored areas on the path and keeping memories in forgotten places.
Undressing myself: From consciousness and from desire as the essential driving force of existence; from an intimate and intense commitment to my work and myself; to flee from indifference, mediocrity and superficiality; from a mirror and within the mirror; from a cell phone and within the cell phone.
